Large spiderwebs showing up in Tehran’s main street!

Every spring, the city of Tehran is decorated with unique works of art to celebrate the coming of the new year. The unusual works aim to enable citizens to think and question their surroundings.
One of these works, installed in the busy Vali Asr Avenue, has attracted the attention of many. Between the trees and hustle and bustle of the avenue, you can find large spiderwebs! The webs were delicately created by artist Maryam Nedaii. She crochets the detailed pieces and aims to awaken an environmentally conscious effect.
